To debut at the 2016 Delhi Auto Expo.
Motor Vikatan claims that the Royal Enfield Himalayan's launch has been pushed to the 2016 Delhi Auto Expo, which commences in February. Earlier reports suggested that the Himalayan would be launched by the end of this year, possibly at the Rider Mania event in Goa later this month.
The RE Himalayan has been spotted testing for about a year now. It is believed that the company's first adventure tourer will be offered in two variants - an off-road friendly model and a better groomed city version.

Expected to be priced in the sub-INR 2 lakh segment, the model would be considered by prospects among KTM Duke and Honda CBR250R too. If the RE Himalayan waits for the Auto Expo to hit showrooms, it may be rivaled by the DSK Benelli TNT 25 and the BMW-TVS K03 (codename), as they are expected to be positioned in the same price segment.
