The report states that Royal Enfield will opt for the traditional carburetor-fed system, and not a fuel-injection unit. The publication states that the engine will produce power and torque in the whereabouts of 45-50 bhp and 60 Nm respectively.
Despite being a large engine, it is compact enough to fit the Continental GT, which further hints that the company may be planning a range of models that will be powered by this unit. However, the exact models (cruisers, adventure bikes, or even Cafe Racers like the Continental GT) are a bit of a mystery.
