There's an increase of about Rs. 11k in the prices of both BS - III and BS - IV models. When it entered the market as the Mahindra-Renault Logan back in 2007, it won many awards as the slide below tells you.
Comparing prices, the Verito D6 retails at Rs. 7.14 lakhs, the Dzire ZDi at Rs. 7.34 lakhs and Etios VXD at Rs. 8.23 lakhs. The Verito is clearly the winner here with the lowest price tag.
The drivetrains consist of a 1.4 MPFI petrol engine and the world renowned 1.5 DCi diesel engine which has an average fuel consumption of 21.03 kmpl (ARAI approved).
Since April 2010, when the Logan was rebadged and launched as Verito, the car has seen an 80% growth in sales. New ideas such as a sub-four meter Verito (length) are being discussed, although company officials were not forthcoming about it at today's press conference.
