'Hey! Good news!'
A new limited edition Renault Sandero Stepway is making its debut in Brazil in May or June this year and will be called the Renault Sandero Stepway Tweed.
To look different from the regular Stepway, the car sports glossy black wheels, black front armour and darkened headlamps, 'Tweed' badges, and black roof rails and mirror caps. The Stepway Tweed will also see changes to its interior with seat covers, door panel and the lower instrument panel in black and white tones.
The Renault Sandero Stepway is available only with a 1.6-liter Hi-Flex fuel engine, mated either to a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic gearbox. While the manual variant produces 98 hp on petrol and 106 hp on ethanol, the automatic variant produces 107 hp on petrol and 112 hp on ethanol.
Both versions are front-wheel driven, get a 50-liter fuel tank and have 320 liters of trunk space.
The Sandero Stepway is a raised version of the Sandero hatchback, and measures 4,021 mm in length, 1,746 mm in width, 1,640 mm in height and gets a wheelbase of 2,591 mm. Its chief rivals are the Toyota Etios Cross and the VW CrossFox.
The special edition costs R45,680 (Rs 11,83,580) for the 1.6-liter 8V manual variant and R51,760 (Rs 13,41,114) for the 1.6-liter 16V automatic variant.
