Will debut at the 2015 Buenos Aires Motor Show.
A few days after Renault teased its first ever pickup, the Renault Oroch, spyshots of several production-spec models covered in pre-delivery wrapping surfaced from Buenos Aires. The Renault Oroch will make its global debut at the 2015 Buenos Aires Motor Show which opens on June 18.
Previewed by the Renault Oroch concept from the 2014 Sao Paulo Motor Show, the Oroch is basically a Renault Duster with a pick-up bed. According to reports, the pick-up bed is 1.35 meters long, has a volumetric capacity of 683 litres and load capacity of 650 kilograms. The front end will have slight modifications to differentiate itself from the Duster, as well as a thicker C-pillar.
Although the interior hasn't been revealed, expect it to be largely similar to the Duster. Characteristic features include a 3-spoke steering wheel with buttons, a MEDIANAV 7-inch infotainment display, and a dual tone interior upholstery.
Powering the Renault Oroch would be a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine capable of running on gasoline or ethanol, which produces 138 hp/197 Nm and 142 hp/209 Nm of torque, respectively. Transmission options will include a 6-speed manual or even a 4-speed automatic with 4×2 and 4×4 drivetrains.

The Oroch will be produced in Brazil and is expected to go on sale in Argentina by the year-end. Given the weak demand for personal pickup trucks, we don't expect Renault India to sell it.
