Deliveries commence in Russia in September.
Renault is offering the Renault Kaptur in Russia with a variety of accessories to enhance its appeal. The special accessories are available for both the exterior and interior of the Duster-based SUV.
On the outside, Renault Kaptur customers can specify a sticker on the roof of the base body colour, two-tone Explore 17-inch alloy wheels and a package of body parts (front pad on the radiator grille, door mirrors, side moldings and tailgate applique) finished in the base body colour.
The Renault Kaptur is available with two engines in Russia. The basic option is a 1.6-litre four-cylinder petrol unit producing 84 kW (112.60 hp/114 PS) and at 5,500 rpm and 156 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. The second engine is a 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol unit which develops 105 kW (140.75 hp/143 PS) at 5,750 rpm and 195 Nm at 4,000 rpm. The 1.6-litre engine can be had with a 5-speed manual transmission or a continuously variable transmission, while the 2.0-litre engine can be opted with a 6-speed manual transmission or a 4-speed automatic transmission. All-wheel drive system is available only in the 2.0-litre engine model, as standard.

The Renault Kaptur has been officially confirmed to launch as the 'Renault Captur' in Brazil in H1 2016. In India, the Kaptur will reportedly go on sale in India in October 2017, manufactured alongside the Renault Duster at the Renault-Nissan Alliance' plant in Oragadam near Chennai.
