Traction control to be offered on the 4WD Duster.
The Renault Duster 4WD was spotted in India recently, ahead of its launch next month. Here are the details observed on the Indian model.
On the outside, the Duster 4WD wears tinted headlight lenses, much like the Duster Adventure Edition that was launched at the Auto Expo. At least two variants would be on offer, as the base model gets regular steel wheels while the top-end trim receives alloy wheels. The bootlid comes with a '4WD' badge to help differentiate it from the regular variants.
Inside, the Duster 4WD gets a new steering, or rather a new center for the steering wheel which aims to look a bit more premium that the regular Duster's unit. The seats get red accents, while the infotainment system is a touchscreen unit from LG on the top-end variant.
The controls for the 4WD system are located below the AC knobs. The system has three modes - 2WD, Auto and Lock to lock the differential. Also, the Duster 4WD will come with a traction control system as seen in the image.
The Duster 4WD is will be previewed to customers this week, and a launch would take place next month.
