A sneak peek into the next-gen Hayabusa.
The Suzuki GSX concept was recently unveiled online by a picture of its clay model, ahead of its public premiere at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show that kicks off on October 28.
A set of photos taken during a presentation of the concept by the company have emerged online giving a peek into the concept motorcycle. Alongside, Suzuki had presented photos of a new set of high-displacement engines, probably the upgraded versions of the mills on the current litre-class lineup.
The GSX concept previews the design direction the company has decided to take to remould its superbikes in their next generations. The model that will be most influenced by this concept is the next generation Suzuki Hayabusa.
The Hayabusa could become more aggressive and rounded in style, as the GSX concept features a more flamboyant and aerodynamically sculpted design. The visor looks taller, the tank appears bigger, the rear cowl is athletic and the tail lamps are more prominent.
The GSX-R1000 and the GSX-S1000 will also draw styling cues from the GSX concept. Of the three, the GSX-R1000 could be the first production model with the new design language, as it is expected to be premiered at the EICMA 2015 in Milan, in November.
