Deliveries commence late this year.
Porsche has launched the base variant of the Porsche Macan in India, priced at INR 76.16 lakh (ex-showroom). The new model is petrol-powered and available to order, with deliveries slated to commence between November and December.
The base Porsche Macan measures 4,697 mm in length, 1,923 mm in width and 1,624 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,807 mm. It packs a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine that produces 185 kW (252 hp) at 5,000-6,800 rpm and 370 Nm of torque at 1,600-4,500 rpm. Power is sent to all four wheels via the PDK gearbox and distributed through an all-wheel drive system. With this configuration, the Macan can reach from 0-100 km/h in 6.7 seconds and claim a top speed of 229 km/h.
Noteworthy standard features of the base Porsche Macan include 18-inch wheels, twin single-tube tailpipes, new Porsche Communication Management infotainment system, three-zone climate control and Alcantara seat centres.

Optionally, a Macan buyer can specify Bi-Xenon with Porsche Dynamic Light System or LED headlights with Porsche Dynamic Light System Plus, panoramic sunroof, heating function for front seats, six-disc CD/DVD changer, new Porsche Communication Management infotainment system with navigation module, Connect module with Porsche Car Connect and Apple CarPlay and Connect Plus module with telephone module, wireless Internet access, real-time traffic information, Apple CarPlay, Google Earth and Google Street View.
