A one-off MV Agusta F3 800 motorcycle was auctioned for €100,000 (approximately INR 79.70 lakh*) at the United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF) Summer Gala. The proceeds from the auction will go to UNICEF Italia. The organization fights to defend the rights of vulnerable children seeking food, shelter and protection.
The F3 800 was auctioned at a gala event held in Porto Cervo, Sardinia. The second edition of the “UNICEF Summer Gala” was organized in cooperation with Italian top fashion online retailers, LuisaViaRoma. The event was attended by celebrity guests such as Adrien Brody, Alicia Silverstone, Caroline Scheufele, Elsa Hosk, Emily Ratajkowski and Georgia Gibbs among others.
The bike was sold to an MV collector. Speaking about the auction, Timur Sardarov, CEO, MV Agusta, said:
I am so happy that our special F3 800 for UNICEF Italia found such a generous buyer. All our motorcycles are hand-crafted, and it takes an incredible amount of pride, passion and experience to manufacture one. This special one is unique, and to know it will serve a unique cause makes every woman and man involved in its production even prouder. I wish to thank UNICEF Italia for giving us this opportunity to support them in defending vulnerable children.
