Could this be the India-bound Toyota Vios?
A Headlight mag member has spotted what appears to be a new Toyota Vios on test in Thailand, just 4 months after the facelifted Vios launched for sale. It has a full body camouflage wrap, but there are a few new noticeable details unique to this version of the Vios.
Only the rear-end and profile have been snapped and the noticeable changes are a tweaked C-Pillar design, new shark fin antenna, and a square-shaped fuel inlet lid. From the back, it features sleek horizontal taillamps nearly similar to the Yaris hatchback test mule spotted last week, and a revised bumper.
The front-end is not yet revealed, but expect it to borrow cues from the Toyota Corolla Altis sedan. Dimensions are likely to be identical to the current Vios, measuring 4,420 mm in length, 1,700 mm in width and 1,475 mm in height, and a wheelbase of 2,550 mm. In Thailand, the Vios is sold with a 2NR-FBE 1.5-litre Dual VVT-i engine with 108 hp at 6,000 rpm and 140 Nm of torque at 4,200 rpm, paired with a CVT as standard is across the range.

The refreshed Vios reportedly makes its way to the Indian market next year, following an unveiling at the Auto Expo 2018. Other than the 1.5L engine, the Indian version could offer the 1.4L D-4D 4-cyl diesel engine as an option. The Vios will rival the Honda City, Maruti Ciaz, VW Vento and Skoda Rapid.
The question now is if this version is the export-spec.
