TVS Motor today re-launched the TVS Victor nameplate in an event held in Chennai today. The all-new Victor is a brand new motorcycle from the ground up, and has no relation to the earlier model which was discontinued back in 2007.
The new TVS Victor is priced at INR 49,490 for the drum brake variant and INR 51,490 for the front disc brake model, ex-Showroom, New Delhi.
The new Victor is powered by a 110 cc 3-valve EcoThrust engine which according to the company offers best-in-class pickup. The fuel efficiency is rated at 76 km/l. The engine develops 9.6 PS at 7,500 rpm, 9.4 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm, and the kerb weight of the motorcycle is 112 kg. The gearbox is a 4-speed unit and an electric start is provided.
The commuter motorcycle is based on a single cradle tubular frame, and measures 1,260 mm in wheelbase and 175 mm in ground clearance. Telescopic oil damped front suspension and a 5-step adjustable hydraulic series spring suspension at the rear manage suspension duties. The TVS Victor comes with an 8 liter fuel tank (including 2 liters of reserve).
Other features on the new TVS Victor include a 55W headlight, tubeless tyres, longest and widest seat in segment and a Front roto-petal disc brake (optional, the standard variant comes with drum brakes at the front and rear).
Blue, Grey, Black & Silver, Red, Black & Red and Silver are the colors on offer. Prior to its launch, the new Victor was test-driven by 500 prospective customers.
