Bajaj Auto has officially announced the launch of ‘All new’ Bajaj Discover bikes on the 10th of this month. The brand will also be showcasing the 2018 range on the same day.
Recently, the 2018 Bajaj Discover 110 and the 2018 Bajaj Discover 125 were spotted. While the former is a new bike, the latter features subtle updates. The 2018 Discover 110 follows the same design language as the 2018 Discover 125. The instrument cluster is an analogue-digital combo unit. In its 2018 guise, the Discover 125 features subtle changes in the graphics. The powertrain, lower portion of the front fork, and the 17-inch alloy wheels are now in black. The black undertones give the bike a sportier image.

The 2018 Discover 125 is likely to use the same 124.6 cc DTS-i mill. It produces 11 PS of power at 8,000 rpm, and 10.8 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. With the help of a 5-speed transmission, the bike can reach a claimed top speed of 100 kmph. The Discover 110 will most likely make 9 PS of power and 9 Nm of torque from its 110cc engine.
At present, Bajaj Auto sells only the Discover 125, and they do not have a 110 cc commuter. The Platina ComforTec and the CT100 are both 100cc motorcycles. The launch of the 2018 Bajaj Discover 110 will re-establish the brand’s presence in the 110 cc commuter segment. The 2018 Bajaj Discover 125 competes against Honda Shine SP, Yamaha Saluto, and the 2018 Hero Super Splendor which was unveiled recently.
