The fire breathing variant of CLA, the Mercedes CLA 45 AMG has been introduced to the world at the 2013 New York Auto Show.

Mercedes has released a video of their latest offering which was very much applauded. It is a technically sound video which displays the car from every possible angle and reveals all the important information about the car. The styling of this four door coupe sources inspiration from its elder sibling, the CLS. The fluidic design, huge 18-inch alloy wheels and deep nose of CLA 45 AMG makes it look premium.
The new baby AMG is powered by a 2.0L turbocharged engine which produces a massive power output of 360bhp. The four-cylinder motor is mated to a 7-speed dual clutch automatic transmission which sends power to wheels via the newly developed 4MATIC all wheel drive system.
Mercedes has stuffed this car with many premium features like racing bucket seats, synthetic leather upholstery, powered front seats and leather wrapped steering wheel with paddle shifters. The car also has safety features like blind spot assist, lane keeping assist and adaptive cruise control.
For your entertainment, the car comes with Bluetooth connectivity and 5.8-inch touchscreen while the premium package will further add Harmon-Kardon audio system. Other comfort features include auto-dimming mirrors, dual zone climate control, compass, heated front seats, garage door opener and more.
The CLA 45 AMG will be launched in November in the United States and it will be priced at USD 48,375 (around Rs. 26.51 lakhs).
