Launched 10 cars last year.
Mercedes-Benz India closed 2014 registering a double-digit sales growth for a second consecutive year. The Stuttgart-based carmaker recorded 13 percent growth with sales of 10,201 units, its best ever sales figure. Previously, Audi India was the only luxury carmaker to have sold more than 10,000 units in a year.
Recapping its year, Mercedes-Benz India launched 10 new models and inaugurated 14 dealerships last year. It also introduced Mercedes-Benz Certified, its pre-owned car sales outlet across 12 dealerships. The AMG Performance Center which deals exclusively in the high-performance brand was launched in three cities as well.
Speaking of AMG, four AMG products were launched last year: GL 63 AMG, ML 63 AMG, CLA 45 AMG and GLA 45 AMG. The last two are based on the MFA platform, and saw the AMG brand reach out to younger audiences.
Other launches from the three-pointed star last year were the S Class, GLA, new C Class, E 350 CDI and Edition 1 special variants of the A and B Class.

Going forth, Mercedes-Benz India will launch the CLA sedan on January 22, and reports say that the E400 Cabriolet will be introduced in the first half of this year.
