Autocar Professional reports that nearly half the pre-orders of the Maruti Vitara Brezza are for the top-end ZDi+ grade with dual tone color, which costs INR 9.68 Lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi).
Apparently, even customers who previously placed an order on lower grades of the Maruti Vitara Brezza are now reverting to top-end grade after seeing the Brezza ZDi+ up close. So far, Maruti has received over 37,000 pre-orders for the Vitara Brezza since last month, and the waiting period now stands at 4-5 months.
One of the reasons could be the extensive feature list. The Vitara Brezza ZDi+ grade is equipped with a SmartPlay infotainment system, inbuilt navigation, reverse parking camera, engine starter button, cruise control, 60:40 split rear seat, projector headlights with LED DRLs and automatic headlights dual airbags and ABS+EBD.

The Maruti Vitara Brezza is only available with a 1.3-liter DDiS four-cylinder diesel engine capable of 90 PS and 200 Nm of torque. It is paired to a 5-speed manual transmission which sends power to the front wheels. The Vitara Brezza is capable of attaining a class-leading, ARAI-rated fuel efficiency of 24.3 km/l.
