Will come only with a diesel engine.
The first official images of the Maruti Vitara Brezza have been posted on Team-BHP by 'thatsdileep', ahead of its world premiere at the Auto Expo 2016 on February 3. The Ford EcoSport/Mahindra TUV300 rival is expected to go on sale in March 2016.
This follows the leak of its specification sheet, where the Vitara Brezza will go on sale in Maruti's four usual grades: LDi, VDi, ZDi, and ZDi+. A driver's airbag is standard across all variants, while the dual paint scheme (seen above) is exclusive to the ZDi+ grade.
Features available in ZDi and ZDi+ include a piano black center console, 215/60 R16 tires, passenger airbag, front seatbelt pretensioner with force limiter, automatic AC, projector headlights with LED bull horn, alloy wheels, 60:40 split rear seat, steering-mounted controls, electric demister, driver seat height adjuster, rear wiper and washer, foglights, rear center armrest, front and rear skid plate, cooled storage, SmartPlay infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, inbuilt navigation, reverse parking camera, engine starter button, cruise control, and automatic headlights.

Under the hood, the Maruti Brezza packs a 1.3-liter DDiS unit. In smaller cars Maruti Swift and Maruti Swift Dzire, the engine develops 75 PS and 190 Nm of torque, while on the Maruti Ciaz and Maruti S-Cross, it produces 90 PS and 200 Nm. It's unclear which configuration will be applied in the sub-4m SUV. The only transmission option rolled out at the launch would be a 5-speed manual gearbox.
Sales of the Maruti Brezza will be handled by Maruti’s regular chain of dealerships, and not the premium NEXA retailers, another report said.
