Last week, Suzuki had showcased the facelifted Suzuki S-Cross at an event in Hungary, revealing all the exterior and interior changes introduced. Here's a brief pictorial comparison between it and the outgoing model.

Most of the exterior changes of the facelifted Maruti S-Cross are concentrated up front, featuring an upright grille with vertical slats, new projector headlamps with chrome details in the cluster, redesigned bumper with a larger radiator grille and new foglamp enclosures. The facelift adds a slightly tougher look to front fascia of the S-Cross.

From other angles, the new S-Cross looks largely identical to the outgoing model, save for minor changes. Suzuki has updated the alloy wheel design, there is a chrome strip across the window line, while the rear-end gets updated taillamps with a new cluster design and slightly tweaked bumper.

Unlike the exterior,Suzuki hasn't done much to the interior of the new S-Cross. The all black interior is detailed with plenty of silver, chrome and gloss black details, as seen in the Maruti S-Cross. The facelift could introduce an updated multi-info display and a new touchscreen system.

One of the images photographed at the event confirms that the S-Cross will feature a Boosterjet engine. It's likely to be the new 1.4-litre, direct-injection, turbocharged Boosterjet petrol engine sourced from the Suzuki Vitara S, reportedly.

A 1.6L diesel engine will continue being offered in the diesel variant of the S-Cross in certain markets. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual or automatic transmissions, while Suzuki’s AllGrip AWD system with various modes is available.
