Maruti's Renault Duster-rival is expected to launch next month.
The Suzuki SX4 S-Cross for the Indian market will likely be called the Maruti S-Cross. Neither will Maruti use the 'A-Cross' name, nor will it add the 'SX4' prefix, if this promotional image is to be believed.
As reported earlier, the Maruti S-Cross will be shown at the IIFA Awards Ceremony which takes place on June 7, 2015 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. A market launch is expected sometime next month, sources tell Indian Autos Blog.
According to a report on GaadiWaadi, the S-Cross will launch in the following six colors: Silky Silver Metallic, Bison Brown Pearl Metallic, Cosmic Black Pearl Metallic, Arctic White Pearl, Galactic Grey Metallic and Boost Blue Pearl Metallic.
The Indian market is likely to get the S-Cross with a 1.4-liter K-Series petrol engine and a Fiat-sourced 1.3-liter DDiS diesel engine. Additionally, reports say that Maruti could also offer a 1.6-liter diesel engine.
