Website says the car is "Coming Soon".
The microsite for the upcoming Maruti Ciaz is now up and running on the car maker's main website. The webpage, and an earlier teaser image released by the company, serve as a buildup to the car's pre-launch social media activities.
Inspired by the Suzuki Authentics concept (which was shown in India as the Concept Ciaz at the Delhi Motor Show earlier this year), a pre-production model of the car was revealed at the Beijing Motor Show in April. For the Chinese market, the car will go by the name 'Alivio'.
For the Indian market, the Ciaz is expected to get power from a 1.4-liter K-Series petrol engine and a 1.3-liter Fiat-sourced Multijet diesel engine. Both these units would be carried over from the Ertiga. A CVT-equipped petrol could also come in the future.
