Spied – Maruti Ciaz to come in three variants; Feature-wise info inside

Here are more spy pictures of the upcoming Maruti Ciaz from its Indian manufacturing plant in Manesar, Haryana, where Maruti has already started production of the sedan. Fresh details reported by Gaadi Waadi are given below.

All variants of the Ciaz will get projector headlights as standard.

All variants of the Ciaz are expected to come with projector headlights. A total of three variants each for petrol and diesel will be on offer. The variant nomenclature will go as: VXi/VDi, VXi+/VDi+ and ZXi/ZDi. According to the report, the base variants will get features such as projector headlamps, rear AC vents, driver arm rest, electrically adjustable wing mirrors, an integrated music system and a dual tone interior.

The Ciaz is expected to offer more interior room than its predecessor, the SX4.

The mid-level trim will add steering mounted audio controls, reverse parking sensors, ABS, height adjustable driver’s seat and foglights. The top-end models will come packed with 16-inch alloy wheels, automatic AC, dual airbags, engine starter button, automatic day/night rear view mirror and a 5-inch infotainment system.

The Ciaz will go on sale next month though pre-launch bookings are expected to start this month.

Expected Price: INR 7.5 – 10.5 lakhs, ex-Showroom

Launch Date: September 2014

    It was first spied in gurgaon last year with same back lights and honda city launched some months ago , so i can say honda copied back light from maruti suuzki just as nissan terrano back designed inspired from suzuki s-cross .

    for the last time….. this was unveiled first so….. honda city tail lights are the ones which were copied!
