Mahindra Tractors, the world's largest tractor maker in terms of volumes, has launched the Mahindra Yuvraj 215 NXT compact model.
The 15 HP tractor is suitable for small land holdings and inter-culture operations. The Yuvraj 215 NXT is the first product in its segment to feature a water-cooled direct injection engine.
The hydraulic system comes with automatic depth and draft controls which is another segment first feature. The 'seat with weight adjustment' and side gearlever are claimed to improve the comfort levels of the operator.
The new Yuvraj NXT has a haulage capacity of 1.5 tonne and can travel at a maximum speed of 25.6 km/h. The tractor gets a two-part detachable silencer for easy maneuverability and a toolbox located below the battery box for easy access.
According to the company, the compact tractor with adjustable rear track width is ideal for inter-culture and spraying operations for crops like cotton, grapes, soybean, groundnut, fruit orchards and sugarcane.
