Mahindra has started accepting pre-bookings for the XUV300. Early birds can simply visit Mahindra SyouV website and deposit INR 20,000 to pre-order their SUV.

Mahindra Xuv300 Interior Dual Zone Climate Control
The Mahindra XUV300 is the first sub-4 metre B-SUV with dual-zone automatic climate control. Even premium B-SUVs like the Hyundai Creta, Tata Harrier and Nissan Kicks do not offer this feature.

The XUV300 is Mahindra’s yet another attempt at the sub-4 metre SUV space, following the Quanto (2012) and the TUV300 (2015). This time, the product is pitted directly against modern sub-compact SUVs, namely the Maruti Vitara Brezza, Ford EcoSport and Tata Nexon. Unlike the other two models, this one has a car-like monocoque construction.

The Mahindra XUV300 sits on the same platform as the SsangYong Tivoli - X100. While the sides, despite the reduced length, and the interior may resemble the South Korean SUV, the engine line-up is completely different. Customers get to select between a 1.2-litre turbocharged three-cylinder petrol engine and 1.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder diesel engine with class-leading torque figures. The former is an all-new engine, while the latter is already on duty in the Mahindra Marazzo. A 6-speed manual transmission is standard for now, but an AMT is on the way.

On the outside, the Mahindra XUV300 features projector headlamps, dual-LED DRLs, 17-inch alloy wheels and LED tail lamps. Interior highlights include sunroof, touchscreen infotainment system with GPS navigation, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, dual-zone climate control, leather upholstery and cruise control.

The safety package of the Mahindra XUV300 will include some high-end features, such as (segment-first) four-wheel disc brakes, ESP and (segment-first) seven airbags.
