Mahindra Trucks and Buses unveiled a slew of new models at the ongoing Auto Expo 2014, including the Truxo 37, Traco 49 and the Torro 25. Each of these three trucks are under various stages of finalisations and could be launched from 1-8 months from now.
Mahindra Tourister Cosmo 40 seater
Apart from the trucks, the company also showcased a new 40 seater Tourister Cosmo bus. The new model sits on the same platform that already has a 16 seater, 25 seater, 32 seater and 36 seater models.
The 40 seater Cosmo gets a 3.3-liter CRDe engine that makes 115 hp and a peak torque of 325 Nm. Power steering is standard and it has a wheelbase of 5,260 mm. The company is expected to launch this bus in a month's time.

Mahindra Traco 49
The Traco 49 gets two engine options - a m-POWER 202 engine that produces 202 hp and a peak torque of 920 NM and a m-POWER 260 engine that produces 260 hp and peak torque of 960 Nm. Both engines are mated to a 9-speed gearbox. The Traco 49 sits on a ladder type frame and gets full air S cam brakes.
The Traco 49 gets a factory fitted vehicle tracking system and ABS unit that should prove extremely useful for fleet operators and drivers alike.

Mahindra Loadking Zoom container
The Loadking Zoom container version was also unveiled. The truck will be powered by the same 2.6-liter CRDe engine, producing 78 hp and a peak torque of 205 Nm, that powers the tipper and cargo variants.
It is also available in short and long wheelbase versions using 4 and 6 wheels respectively.

The Truxo 37, an all-new rigid multi-axle truck will join the Truxo 31 line.
The Torro 25 tipper with its 9-speed gearbox and bogie suspension was also on show.
Both models will be launched this year.
