The Mahindra Marazzo MPV was launched at Rs 9.99 lakh onward on 3 September. The new model is available with a host of accessories that can be bought from the authorised dealerships. Youtube user Ujjwal Saxena has detailed most of the add-ons in the video embedded inside this story.
At the front, the accessorised Mahindra Marazzo MPV features chrome garnish on the shark tooth-inspired front grille. There's also a dash of chrome around the headlamps. The bumper features a faux skid plate and a protector. These add-ons are finished in a gold paint, which leads to a twin-tone finish. For the sides, owners of the lower-spec models can opt for the dual-tone alloy wheels. One can also install protective plastic cladding on the wheel arches.
Accessories for the rear-end include a bumper protector, chrome tail light surrounds and boot-lid chrome garnish. Other add-ons include chrome-plated ORVM caps and door handles, window visors, side steps, and a black roof wrap. The interior accessories list comprises scuff plates for the door sills and an optional high-end Tuscan music system. Owners can also purchase a tyre pressure monitoring systems and a tyre inflation system.
The Mahindra Marazzo is powered by the 1.5-litre mHawk turbocharged diesel engine that outputs a maximum power of 121 hp @ 3,500 rpm and a peak torque of 300 Nm @ 1,750 - 2,500 rpm. The oil-burner comes mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. It has an ARAI-certified fuel efficiency of 17.3 km/l. The new model is claimed to be the world's first passenger vehicle to have a transversely mounted engine and FWD layout with a ladder-frame construction.
