Mahindra revealed the interior of the upcoming Mahindra Marazzo today confirming that the MPV will come in 8-seat and 7-seat variants. The former gets a conventional bench for the second row whereas the latter gets captains chairs with individual armrests.
The company already confirmed leatherette seats for the top-end variant of the Marazzo, and these images show that Mahindra has opted for beige to be the prominent interior colour, to lend the cabin an airy feel. The second-row windows also sport retractable sun blinds, whereas the third row gets a pair of cupholders.
The Marazzo gets a surround AC system with automatic climate control expected on the top-end variant. Other features on offer include cruise control, diamond cut alloy wheels, LED daytime running lights, projector headlights, dual front airbags, ABS, EBD and a touchscreen entertainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and a reverse camera.
Power for the Marazzo will come from a 1.5-liter four-cylinder diesel engine capable of 121 hp and 300 Nm of torque. It will be paired with a new 6-speed manual transmission driving the front wheels. This is the first of the Mahindra-Ssangyong developed powertrains and will be seen on the Mahindra S201 (sub-4 meter SUV) next.
