The Mahindra Centuro 110cc commuter bike is getting all the importance that it needs from its maker.

While Mahindra2Wheelers left the Pantero's marketing to the customers' word of mouth, the Centuro will be benefited from an aggressive marketing campaign. The recently launched TV commercial of the motorcycle forms an important part of the marketing strategy and the video is garnering some eyeballs on the Youtube with more than two lakh hits in just a few days.
Shot in Poland, the TVC attempts to incorporate Mahindra's DNA of ruggedness into the Centuro by showing the bike traversing the forest trails.
The Centuro is powered by a 110cc four stroke air cooled engine which produces 8bhp and 8 Nm of torque and is mated to a four speed gearbox. It's the same motor that powers the Pantero but the intake and ignition system and engine tuning are new, resulting in a better ARAI certified mileage of 85.4 kmpl.
The bike is packed with features like LED pilot and tail lamps, remote flip key with LED torch, engine immobilizer with anti theft alarm, digital instrument console with Distance To Empty meter, Find Me lamps and Guide Me lamps.
The motorcycle is priced at Rs. 45,000 (ex-showroom Delhi) and the first 10,000 units will be sold at Rs. 44,000.
