Classic Legends has announced the launch of the 90th Anniversary Edition motorcycle. The new model celebrates the 90th anniversary of the Jawa brand, and it will be limited to just 90 units. The Anniversary Edition is inspired by the first Jawa, the 500 OHV. Classic Legends have also confirmed that the limited-edition motorcycle will be available on display at Jawa dealerships from 15 October 2019.

The anniversary edition carries several visual upgrades over the standard motorcycle. The paint scheme, for example, witnesses the addition of 500 OHV inspired colour on the fuel tank. The dual-tone paint of red and ivory enhances the retro styling of the motorcycle. The 90th Anniversary commemorative emblem and the production number (XX/90) are visible on the fuel tank. The 90th Anniversary Edition model is based on the rear-disc/dual-tone ABS version of the Jawa Classic.
The mechanical specifications of the 90th-anniversary model are identical to those of the standard bike. Thus, propelling tasks are handled by the 293 cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine that churns out 27.37 PS of peak power and 28 Nm of max torque. The single-cylinder mill is claimed to return a fuel economy of 37.5 km/l (ARAI-certified).
Given that the special edition model is based on the dual-channel ABS version of the Jawa Classic, the anchoring department comprises disc brakes on both wheels. The shock absorption setup includes telescopic forks at the front and twin gas-charged shock absorbers at the rear.
The motorcycle is priced at the same level as the standard Jawa dual-channel ABS. Thus, it is available for INR 1,72,942 (ex-showroom Delhi). Customers who have already booked the Jawa models and those who will make a reservation before the midnight of 22 October 2019 will stand a chance to own this motorcycle. Do note that buyers would not have to wait for too long to take the deliveries of the anniversary model as Classic Legends promised “immediate delivery”.

In more updates, Classic Legends is reportedly planning to expand its portfolio with the launch of three new products/variants. One of the three upcoming models will be the Perak Bobber that is likely to arrive before the end of this year.
