Red Rooster has introduced aftermarket exhausts for the Jawa products in India. The aftermarket accessory is available in two variants that are priced at INR 16,490 and INR 16,990, reports RushLane.

Red Rooster Performance also offers aftermarket exhaust for motorcycles like Royal Enfield products (Classic range, Thunderbird series, Himalayan, Continental GT and the 650 Twins) and KTM bikes. In a familiar manner, Red Rooster Performance has made the exhaust system for Jawa motorcycles from 304-grade stainless steel, claims the source report.

Changes to the performance figures post the installation of the exhaust system haven't been not mentioned. However, the source report claims up to 20% gain. That's quite an optimistic number. The stock motorcycle, for reference, draws 28 Nm of peak torque and 27.37 PS of max power from its 293 cc liquid-cooled, DOHC motor. The engine is linked to a six-speed gearbox. In the factory state of tune, the single-cylinder mill is claimed to return 37.5 km/l.

Both, the Jawa Classic and the Jawa Forty-Two, carry a massive waiting period (ranging from 6 to 11 months – depending on the city). Classic Legends has listed a Delivery Estimator on its website that gives an estimated delivery timeline for the Jawa range of products (both single-channel and dual-channel ABS models). Check out the prices in the table below:

Model Price (Single-Channel ABS) Price (Dual-Channel ABS)
Jawa Classic INR 1,64,000 INR 1,72,942
Jawa Forty-Two INR 1,55,000 INR 1,63,942

In more updates, the expected launch timeline for the Perak Bobber is approaching. The Perak Bobber uses a relatively bigger motor than the Jawa Classic and Forty-Two. It has a 334 cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC, 4-valve engine with fuel-injection system that produces 30.41 PS of max power and 31 Nm of peak torque.

Jawa models target the Royal Enfield's 350 cc bikes. In fact, Royal Enfield has been delivering negative sales performance in the domestic market since December last year, which coincidentally happens to be around the same time when Jawa launched its Classic and Forty-Two motorcycles.

After the Jawa brand, Classic Legends plans to bring back the Yezdi brand. In fact, the company has already started new social media pages for the Yezdi brand, announcing the availability of official Yezdi branded merchandise. Regular followers would know that Classic Legends owns rights to market Jawa, Yezdi and BSA motorcycles. The company is yet to announce the launch details about the Yezdi and the BSA brands.
