Limited Edition of the Honda EX5 Dream gets tubeless tyres.
The limited edition model of the Honda EX5 Dream Fi, launched this week in Malaysia, carries a price tag of RM 4,874 and is available only in kickstart.
Along with chrome badging, chrome grab rail and headlamp garnish, the ‘kapchai’ gets a special paint job. The limited edition Honda EX5 Dream Fi also gets tubeless tyres with alloy wheels.
A kapchai is essentially a motorcycle with a structural tube framing with a plastic overlay which is not a part of the frame. Popular in South East Asia, Taiwan and Eastern Europe, the kapchais trace their origin to the legendary Honda Super Cub.
Powering the limited edition Honda EX5 Dream Fi is an air-cooled 109.1 cc single-cylinder fuel-injected mill. The output at 8.35 PS of maximum power at 7,500 rpm and 8.4 Nm of peak torque at 6,000 rpm is identical to the standard trim. The standard version with kickstart costs RM 4,715. The limited Edition is placed in the middle, with the flagship version being the EX5 Dream Fi with self-start carrying a sticker price of RM 4,959.
Deliveries of the limited edition Honda EX5 Dream Fi have commenced in Penang and Kedah while availability in the rest of Malaysia will begin shortly.
