The Lexus RC F, based on the RC Coupe presented at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show, made its world premiere at the North American International Auto Show.
The aggressive Lexus RC F coupe features a more potent 5.0-litre engine with an output of over 450 hp. For added stability and performance, the RC F gains wider wheels and tyres, an active rear wing, air vents, cooling ducts and components made using carbon fiber.
At the front the RC F is dominated by the Lexus spindle grille with a subtle 'F' embedded in the mesh below the Lexus symbol. The bonnet is set a bit higher for a flared profile. Air ducts and fins are provided around the front for stabilizing air flow.
Over to the interior, the meters, steering wheel, seats, and pedals are different from the RC Coupe. The color, information and the font size on the central display accordingly change when the driving modes change.
There's no word on when this model will meet production or how much it will cost.
More design and technical details on the RC F are available in the press release section.
