Deliveries of the Lexus NX in India have commenced. Lexus had launched the new SUV in the country last December.
The Lexus NX is available in India exclusively in the NX 300h AWD model. The hybrid SUV’s powertrain combines the 2AR-FXE 2.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine with two electric motors, one at the front and the other at the rear. It develops 145kW (194 bhp) at 5,700 rpm and 210 Nm of torque at 4,200-4,400 rpm. An electronic continuously variable transmission is standard.
Lexus offers the NX in our market in two grades: Luxury and F-Sport. The differentiation between the two is quite obvious from their names. The Luxury grade features 18-inch Bronze/black wheels, leather upholstery in White Orchre (with instrument panel in White or Black), Orchre, Black, Dark Rose, Accent White or Rich Cream, Shimamoku (polished steel finish) or Bamboo (matte finish) interior trim combination, seat heating (front and rear) and seat ventilation (front).
The F Sport grade stands out with F Sport front bumper, grille and rear bumper, 18-inch dark premium metallic wheels, aluminium pedals, F Sport gearshift lever, knob and steering wheel, F Sport front seats with heating, leather upholstery in Flare Red, Mustard Yellow, White or Black and Naguri-style Aluminium interior trim. It also has an F Sport front suspension setup for a more dynamic drive.
