The Kawasaki Estrella 175 (W175) will be launched in Indonesia in the second half of this year, according to tmcblog.com.
As per a report on tmcblog.com, the bike will come in two variants: standard and special edition. According to the local dealers in the country, the bike will enter the market in November.
When it comes to looks, the Estrella 175 is similar to its bigger cousin, the Estrella 250. The pea-shooter exhaust, round headlamp, spoke wheels and the single-piece bench seat give the motorcycle a Bonneville-like look. Coming to the powerplant, the Estrella 175 reportedly uses a 175 cc single cylinder DOHC 2 valve engine. There is no information on the power figures yet. For reference, the Estrella 250 gives out 18 PS and 18 Nm from its 250cc SOHC two-valve engine.
The Kawasaki Estrella 175 employs telescopic forks at the front and twin shocks at the rear. For braking, the bike uses a disc at the front and a drum unit at the rear. The Estrella 250 commands a price tag of IDR 72,600,000 (INR 3.52 lakhs). There is no word on the pricing of the smaller variant yet.
