Along with the Jeep Renegade Desert Hawk and 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee, FCA displayed the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon and Jeep Cherokee Night Eagle at the 2016 Bologna Motor Show.
Jeep Wrangler Rubicon
The Jeep Wrangler Rubicon was showcased at the show in Bright White colour. Made for serious off-road activities, the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon is powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder diesel engine developing 200 hp (147 kW) at 3,600 rpm and 460 Nm of torque at 1,600-2,600 rpm. Power is sent to the wheels via the W5A580 5-speed automatic transmission and ROCK-TRAC four-wheel drive system.
Jeep Cherokee Night Eagle
The Jeep Cherokee Night Eagle seen in the images is finished in Diamond Black paint and has a completely blacked-out exterior. The Jeep badge on the bonnet and tailgate, the 4x4 badge on the tailgate, the grille, window frames, 18-inch wheels and roof bar - all are finished in gloss black. If that's not enough to recognise what the model is, Jeep has stuck a 'Night Eagle' badge on the tailgate. The special edition model can be had in White, Billet Silver and Granite Crystal colours also.
Bi-Xenon headlamps, seats with Nappa leather upholstery, heating and ventilation, 8-way electrical adjustment for driver's seat, 506-watt, 9-speaker sound system with subwoofer, ParkView reversing camera, Park Sense parking assist and electric tailgate are the equipment highlights of the Jeep Cherokee Night Eagle.
The Jeep Cherokee Night Eagle is powered by the 200 CV (200 hp) 2.2-litre MultiJet II diesel engine. There's a 9-speed automatic transmission automatic transmission which works in conjunction with the Active Drive four-wheel drive system.
