Limited edition with exterior black accents to launch by end of 2015.
Jeep has unveiled the Renegade 'Night Eagle’ edition at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show. It is a limited edition unit with sales expected to start by this year itself.
The Renegade limited edition is based on the Longitude trim and features satin-finish grey colour on the 'Jeep' badge on the front grille, roof bars, fog light frames and exclusive 17-inch black alloy rims. A new exterior colour ‘Volcano Sand’ has been added to the other four options of Carbon Black, Alpine White, Glacier Silver and Solar Yellow.
Stepping inside, there are fabric seats with electric lumbar adjustment for the driver's seat, a leather steering wheel, manual climate control system, UConnect with 5-inch screen, 3.5-inch TFT instrument panel, rear parking sensors and cruise control.
The Renegade at the show is powered by a 2.0-liter diesel producing 140 hp and mated to a 6-speed manual transmission and Active Drive 4x4 system. Other engine options depending on the market for the Renegade Night Eagle are 2.0-liter Multijet producing either 120 hp or 140 hp, 1.6-liter Multijet with 120 hp output or 1.4-liter MultiAir engine generating 140 hp.
