The Jawa motorcycles are sold out till September 2019 and command a waiting period of up to six months. On 21 December, the company introduced the dual-channel ABS variants of the bikes, which will be delivered from September.
Powering the Jawa motorcycles is a BS6 ready 293cc DOHC, liquid-cooled engine that pairs with a six-speed transmission. The fuel-injected motor is tuned to generate 27 bhp of power and 28 Nm of peak torque. The Jawa Forty-Two competes with the Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350X, while the Jawa classic rivals the Royal Enfield Classic 350.
