Could be one of the four new cars to break cover at the Hyundai Product Momentum Show.
Hyundai has announced that it will stage four world premieres at the Hyundai Product Momentum Show which will take place tomorrow (December 10). Hyundai Blog believes that the new Hyundai i20 N hot hatchback could be one of them.
The i20 N will be Hyundai's first performance hatchback and the first model to adopt the brand's newly formed N performance division. Here is a speculative rendering of the go-faster premium hatchback from Hyundai Blog.
The hot hatchback would have a lower ride height than the regular variant and would be adorned with an aggressive body kit comprising new bumpers, side skirts, larger alloy wheels, chin air splitters and a roof mounted rear spoiler. The grille would receive new detailing along with the 'N' badge.
The interior too is expected to have a sporty appeal by means of different color themes and material appointments. Under the skin, the i20 N will get a more powerful motor (output is rumored to be in the region of 250 hp) and a snappy transmission.
It's safe to assume that the chassis, suspension and steering systems would be sharpened up to improve the overall driving dynamics. Hyundai's maiden WRC experience with the old gen i20 would help in fine tuning the new hot hatch.
