Will be launched in the Korean market tomorrow.
A Hyundai spokesman has announced that the newly-formed Genesis luxury brand has garnered almost 10,000 pre-orders (9,700 to be precise) for the Genesis EQ900 as of Monday. It is expected to surpass the 10,000 mark before it hits showrooms tomorrow.
Replacing Hyundai's flagship model, the Hyundai Equus, the Genesis EQ900 will help spearhead the Genesis luxury brand in the Korean market, which will rival Infiniti and Lexus that are respective spin-offs from Nissan and Toyota.
The Genesis EQ900 will also be introduced in other markets as the Genesis G90 that will debut at the 2016 NAIAS in January. The exterior design has already been revealed through official design sketches and spyshots. It will measure 5,205 mm long, 1,915 mm wide, 1,495 mm high, and has a wheelbase of 3,160 mm.
