The Honda Navi was launched at the Auto Expo at INR 39,500 (ex-showroom, Delhi) with deliveries set to commence in April. It is a new type of two-wheeler that has the form of a motorcycle and the function of a scooter. It was designed and developed entirely by the Indian R&D wing of Honda Two Wheelers, and it is the first vehicle to have been developed from the ground-up by HMSI. It will be offered with a wide array of official accessories.
The Navi is powered by the Honda Activa 3G's engine, which is the 110 cc forced-air-cooled single-cylinder engine with HET (Honda Eco Technology). The motor is tuned to produce a maximum power of 7.83 hp at 7,000 rpm and a peak torque of 8.96 Nm at 5,500 rpm, and is mated to the familiar V-matic transmission (CVT). The Navi can attain a top speed of 81 km/h.
