Honda Navi, the scooter-motorcycle hybrid that took the center stage at the company's stall at the 2016 Auto Expo is now available for sale in 7 Indian cities in its initial phase. These include Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Gurgaon, Mumbai and Pune. 5,000 units of the vehicle have already been sold within the first couple of months, HMSI has announced.
The Navi serves as a new experience for the buyer and the seller as such a product does not exist on the market. With it, the company is offering a wide range of customization options such as body decals, a small visor at the front, headlight grille, front suspension rubber and much more. Besides, a luggage box can also be availed in the space provided between the rider’s legs that comes as an optional extra.

Powering the Navi is the same 109.19cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine from other Honda scooters. The HET (Honda Eco Technology) motor delivers a maximum power of 8 bhp while the peak torque comes in at 8.96 Nm. Power gets transmitted to the rear wheels via a CVT that pushes the vehicle to a top speed of 81 km/h.
