No performance upgrades though.
Honda has launched the Mugen edition of its midsize hatchback, the Jazz in Philippines. It's a bodykitted version of the Jazz, so there are no power upgrades to talk about. Based on the 'V' variant of the Jazz, the Jazz Mugen offers a lot of factory-fitted Mugen accessories at an equivalent price of Rs 12.44 lakhs.
It gets 17-inch Mugen wheels, a new front grille, tailgate spoiler, and Mugen badges. Available as a highly limited version (only 30 of these will be sold in Philippines), the Jazz Mugen is sure to stay unique.
Two colour choices - Tafetta White and Rallye Red - mean there's not too many customization options either. But that shouldn't be a reason to worry, as Honda has decided to sell Mugen accessories package separately as well.
Honda India will launch the Jazz next year possibly in March. Given that Honda offered the Mobilio with an RS version, we expect something similar for the Jazz. Not necessarily Mugen but even a similar set of accessories (like the Modulo range available for the Amaze) will surely further strengthen the appeal of the car.

Also, just to recapitulate, the Jazz in India will be available in both petrol and diesel versions.
