PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM) is showcasing the Honda Jazz facelift at the ongoing 2017 GIIAS. The model present on the show floor is the RS variant in White Orchid Pearl complete with elaborate decals.
As part of the sticker job, the 2017 Honda Jazz RS gets red, black and grey stripes running across the sides of the car, wrapping around the roof. The sticker job is part of Honda's theme for the 2017 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show - "Born to Race". The Honda Jazz facelift on display also features Modulo accessories.
Honda launched the new Jazz and Jazz RS in Indonesia on July 25, 2017. When compared with the older model, the Honda Jazz Facelift features a new grille and front bumper, LED headlamps and LED DRLs. The RS variants get different front and rear bumper along with a faux air diffuser at the back. It also gets RS badging on the grille and boot lid along with a unique Phoenix Orange and black exterior paint scheme.
In the cabin, the Honda Jazz facelift gets an 8-inch touchscreen. The standard and RS variants are powered by a 1.5 L SOHC i-VTEC four-cylinder petrol capable of generating 120 PS at 6,600 rpm with a maximum torque output of 14.8 kg.m at 4,600 rpm. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual and a CVT.
Prices of the Honda Jazz facelift start at Rp 232,500,000 (INR 11.19 lakhs), and the Jazz RS facelift starts at Rp 262,500,000 (INR 12.63 lakhs). In India, the Honda Jazz facelift is expected to arrive sometime next year as the locally made Jazz is just two years old.
