The newest addition to HMSI's scooter lineup will be launched in the second week of November according to Autocar Professional. Bookings for the Honda Grazia are currently open across all Honda 2Wheelers dealerships for an amount of INR 2,000.
As revealed by spy media that emerged a couple of days back, the Grazia features contemporary styling. It gets a twin headlamp setup mounted on the front apron along with the turn indicators. The "Advanced Urban Scooter", as Honda calls it, will target the urban youth.
The engine is likely to be a 125cc single-cylinder unit sourced from the Activa 125. It produces 8.52 bhp of power at 6,500 rpm and 10.54 Nm of torque at 5,000 rpm. However, there is no official word yet. The Grazia uses a telescopic fork at the front and the rear is likely to employ a single shock absorber. The scooter will feature Honda's Combi Brake System (CBS) tech.
The Honda Grazia is expected to become the new flagship scooter for the company in India. Currently, the Honda Activa 125 sits at the top of the pile priced at INR 57,497 - 61,869 (ex-showroom Delhi). Current estimates place the price of the Grazia at around INR 65,000 (ex-showroom).
