The Honda CB Trigger is the newest 150cc contender from the Japanese auto giant. The bike was unveiled a few months ago and now Honda has announced the price.
The Unicorn Dazzler didn't quite manage to make an impact in the 150cc segment as much as the original Unicorn did. The CB Trigger is expected to succeed the Dazzler and will attempt to perform better.
The new motorcycle is powered by the same silky smooth engine that powers the Unicorn. The motor now generates 14 bhp and a peak torque of 12.5 Nm. The transmission is a five speed unit. The numbers don't set the adrenalin running, but the motor has a proven driveabilty and refinement standards. Honda claims that the CB Trigger will return a fuel economy of 60 kmpl.
The bike also gets all the goodies that have become norms in the segment such as digital instrument console (both speedometer and tachometer), LED taillights , alloy wheels. In addition disc brake and monoshock suspension at the rear are offered. The Combi Brake System is the first-in-class feature.
The bike tips the scale at 137 Kg. It is available in three shades - Meteor Green Metallic, Pearl Siena Red and Black.
The Honda CB Trigger is priced at Rs. 67,384 (ex-shorwroom Delhi). The motorcycle will pick up a fight with well established motorcycles like the TVS Apache RTR and the Yamaha FZ series.
