The Honda CB Hornet 160R uses the same powertrain as the Unicorn 160 but produces more power.
A report in Zigwheels reveals that the Honda’s second motorcycle, from the promised four new products this fiscal, can be a faired Honda CB Hornet 160R. The second motorcycle was described ‘fun’ by Mr Kato, the new CEO and President of Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt Ltd.
A faired Honda Hornet 160R will be competing against the Suzuki Gixxer SF and the Yamaha Fazer and can be expected to be in the same engine tune as the naked version.

The Honda Hornet 160 is powered a 162.71 cc air-cooled, carburetted, BSIV compliant mill. Coupled to a 5-speed gearbox the engine is capable of producing 15.04 bhp of maximum power at 8,500 rpm and 14.76 Nm of peak torque at 6,500 rpm. The bike tips the scales at 138 kg for the standard and 140 kg for the CBS trim. The faired version though will be slightly heavier.
The Honda CB Hornet 160R is priced between INR 82,095 and INR 86,595 (both prices ex-showroom, Delhi) and the faired version is expected to cost 10-12 percent higher.
