The Honda Amaze was launched in Thailand a few days ago, and the Japanese have decided to get even more exposure and publicity by presenting it at the ongoing Thai Motor Expo that attracts millions of Thai would-be car buyers each year.
Honda also presented a Modulo kit for the Amaze for people who like a bit of zing in their car.
So what do you get in the Modulo Kit?
Honda Brio Amaze Modulo exterior
- A new front grill
- Sporty front and rear bumper extensions
- Fared side skirts
- A ‘ducktail’ boot lid spoiler
- Chrome tipped tail pipe
- Sporty alloy wheels
Honda Brio Amaze Modulo interior
- Carbon-fibre style dashboard panel
- Touch-screen head unit with navigation
- Reverse camera display
- Sporty pedals and gear knob
- Door sills with Amaze illumination
Mechanically the Honda Amaze remains unchanged. It is powered by a brand new 1.5 litre Earth Dreams i-DTEC turbodiesel (for India) or a 1.2 litre petrol engine from the hatch (for other markets). A manual or a CVT gearbox is also on offer.
Do you think Honda should offer the Modulo Kit on the Amaze sedan in India as well and extend it to customers of the City and the Brio? We want to hear your opinion in the comments section, Honda is certainly taking note of what you say.
