The Honda Activa scooter range has surpassed 2 crore units in sales since its launch in India in 2001. The Activa is currently the highest selling two-wheeler in the country.
In its debut year, the Honda Activa crossed sales of over 55,000 units, while it reached 5 lakh unit-sales in 2003. The scooter took 15 years to reach 1 crore unit-sales, while the other 1 crore target was achieved within 3 years.

The Honda Activa range includes the Activa-I, Honda Activa 5G and the Activa 125. The Activa range of scooters is available in the price bracket of INR 50,173 to INR 64,307 (ex-showroom Delhi), depending on the model and variants. The Activa 5G comes with features like LED headlight, a combined braking system (CBS) and LED daytime running lights among others.

The Honda Activa 5G and the Activa-i use a 109.19 cc, single-cylinder HET engine that produces 8 bhp of power and 9 Nm of torque, mated to a V-Matic transmission. On the other hand, the Honda Activa 125 employs a 124.9 cc, single-cylinder HET engine that churns out 8.52 bhp of power and 10.54 Nm of peak torque. The engine pairs to a V-Matic gearbox.
