While Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) is not offering any discounts on its products this festive season, they have announced other benefits for buyers. Kicking off right at the peak of the festive season is a new customer-benefit initiative called Honda Joy Club. In a press conference held in Mumbai, the company announced the launch and benefits of the new program that new and existing customers can avail.
HMSI points out that while many of their competitors offer heavy discounts on the prices of their products, it chose to go down another path. It does not want to deteriorate the value of the products they have to offer.
With HMSI dominating the majority of the two-wheeler segments, the new digital loyalty program is aimed at growing the company’s customer base and providing greater benefits to their existing users. The program is offering memberships worth INR 299 for free, for a limited period until November 30, 2018. Existing customers can also subscribe to the program, by paying INR 299 plus GST.
The customer can redeem one unit of Honda currency for every INR 4 spent in the program. The currency can be used to avail various services.
Subscribers to the program get 299 worth of Honda currency. Honda has tied up with multiple partners in order to bring the best of services from a whole host of industries. These areas of interest include hospitality, travel, healthcare, apparel, food & beverages, personal care, insurance and more. Tata Sky, ICICI Lombard, H3U, Yatra and many more companies have tied up with HMSI for this program.
The program puts the choice of benefits up to its user and also puts old and new customers of the brand on an even platform.
In addition to the multiple cashback offers, the benefits will include free wash and pick-up facilities, travel vouchers worth INR 5,000, personal accident cover worth INR 1 lakh for a period of 3-years, smart healthcare membership worth INR 500 for a period of 3-years and DTH discount vouchers of INR 500. Customers also have ways of earning more cash and boost their membership levels through a referral program, while enrollment into the program isn’t just limited through their online portals but also through offline channels across the country.
