Hero MotoCorp has launched the CBS equipped HF Deluxe in India. Hero MotoCorp has christened its CBS tech as Integrated Braking System (iBS) and the safety feature will be seen on all products below 125cc displacement from the company. The motorcycle is listed in three variants on Hero MotoCorp’s website (ex-showroom prices):
- Kick Start Drum Brake Alloy Wheel - INR 40,400
- Kick Start Drum Brake Spoke Wheel - INR 39,400

Apart from the addition of IBS tech and larger drum brakes, there are no changes to the HF Deluxe i3S. The motorcycle deploys the 97.2cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that puts out 8.24 bhp of maximum power at 8,000 rpm and 8.05 Nm of peak torque at 5,000 rpm. The engine is paired with a four-speed transmission. With the i3S start/stop system, it is claimed to deliver a fuel economy of 88.24 km/l.
Stopping power comes from 130mm drum brakes that replace the 110mm units and the new setup is claimed to reduce the braking distance. Telescopic hydraulic shock absorbers at the front perform suspension tasks while at the rear is a two-step adjustable hydraulic unit.
The instrument console features two dials – one for the speedometer and second for the fuel gauge and telltale indicator that also includes a side stand warning. The motorcycle can be purchased in five colour options that include a new paint - Heavy Grey with Black, Candy Blazing Red, Black with Red, Black with Purple and Heavy Grey with Green (New).
