Just Yesterday we brought you the spyshots of the new Hero sportsbike testing in Haryana. The test mules of the upcoming motorcycle were spotted again, this time by Autocar India.
Though fully hidden under a thick black sheet, the silhouette has an undeniable resemblance to the Hero Karizma ZMR, the current flagship motorcycle of the two wheeler giant. From the looks of it, the new motorcycle could succeed the ailing ZMR.
The spyshot shows four test mules with different configurations. We have a better view of the first two and you can observe that the first mule has a rear disc brake while the second one has a drum. Another interesting observation is that the test mules sport different silencers (first one has a new silencer while the second one features the Karizma ZMR's silencer).
The bike has an alloy clip on the handlebar, alloy foot pegs and a sporty riding position. The tires are slim and the drive chain is exposed.
The powertrain details remain sketchy as of now but expect a more powerful version of the Karizma ZMR's 225cc motor or even a bigger engine. This motorcycle could very well be the first product to have inputs from Hero's new tech partner, Eric Buell Racing.
The new flagship Hero sportsbike is expected to target the likes of Pulsar 200NS, KTM Duke 200, Yamaha YZF-R15 and the Honda CBR250R.
